our steps toward responsible and ecological gastronomy

We believe that sustainable development is the key to the future. That’s why our restaurant takes a series of actions aimed at minimizing our carbon footprint and supporting local producers. Every aspect of our operations, from product selection to energy management, aligns with our mission to care for the planet and the community.

water

We have implemented a program to save water by installing aerators.
We consciously do not use bottled water and plastic packaging.
The soap we use is very thick, foams well and rinses off easily without using a lot of water.

energy

The energy we consume comes from renewable sources which is supported by the “Green Energy from Axpo” certificate.
Thanks to the installed specialised water filters, we do not use energy to cool the water.
We save energy through smart lighting management.
We wash dishes in appliances with heat and steam recovery.
Our ventilation and air conditioning works with heat pump recuperation system.

local, community and neighbourhood actions

We have implemented a waste management program Zero Waste-Less Waste and we collaborate daily with our suppliers to include them in our efforts. We are pleased that our partners include companies that share the same values.

The menu is mainly based on vegetables. We offer full vegetarian tasting menu and also non-alcoholic pairing.
The wine list is built around producers working in an organic and biodynamic model.
We have officially started the process of obtaining Green Key certification as a target for 2025.
We have established a Sustainable Development Policy (SDP), and we are setting short and long term goals in the implementation of this plan for hub.praga restaurants.
We promote Polish and local products, we also offer our own "From The Heart from Poland" products based on zero waste philosophy and practices.
We work closely with local and sustainable farms shortening the delivery route and CO2 consumption. One of our main partners and suppliers is the Warsaw-based Majlert farm.
We use certified, organic and sustainably made, traditional and artisanal products. We try to increase the amount of them on our menu every day.
We responsibly plan food production to reduce residuals as much as possible. We have implemented a prepaid dining system to encourage guests to work alongside us.
Our porcelain is handmade and repaired before new porcelain is ordered.
We are located just about 20 minutes from the Old Town, so while you are enjoying a healthy stroll along the new Warsaw footbridge - do not hesitate to visit us!
The hub praga restaurant and company hub praga sp. z o.o. has an entry in the register of BDO entities, number 000581355 (Database on products and packaging and waste management of the Ministry of Climate).

We do not use or buy any beverages, water, etc. packaged in plastic.
In the production of food, we have reduced the use of food film and plastic by using ECOR biodegradable film (standard EN 13432) and packaging that is made from 30% recycled material.
